Last friday my oldest “baby” Caleb turned 12-
that’s ONE year away from being a teenager…
(um, what? that’s crazy.)
On his birthday we flew to California and spent the afternoon at Newport Beach-
and had dinner at Perry’s Pizza (we heard it was WORLD FAMOUS)
and played video games,
and then had donuts in lieu of cake along the boardwalk-
and then we swam in the hotel pool-
it was pretty fun!
We love you Caleb,
praying this is an amazing year for you!

This week was Spring Break for us-
Ryan and Caleb went on Caleb’s first missions trip to work with the Chicago Dream center
(they come home today)
and so my week was full of sleepovers, movies, card games, chicken-sitting, some shopping/decorating, a trip with Grandpa D. to Arbuckle Wilderness and lots of cuddles with my littlest 3!
(Jonah loves hats, he wears them all of the time, I love it!)
We have something new and super FUN to show monday,
(think “mothers’s day”, it’s coming quick)

This has been a long and busy week,
I’m so glad it’s friday, aren’t you?!
Our new website is finally done and live, I can hardly believe it!
This site was a way bigger project than I had imagined,
seems like we have been working on it FOREVER.
Our old website was the only other site we have ever had-
we started off small with it and then it grew with us,
but eventually we outgrew it and we knew it was time for a totally new site.
We wanted our new site to be easier for you to navigate,
to be easier for you to connect with us on social media,
able to hold customer accounts and email wish lists,
updated product pictures,
and fresh, new pretty pages with a soft vintage feel-
I could not love it more and we hope you love it too!

my busy life recently became busier-
In the past month I’ve joined bootcamp,
a coed indoor soccer team (with Ryan, Jill and Jill’s hubbie Mark!)
and I’m now the girls high school soccer coach at my kid’s school!

The kids and I had fun with Valentine’s this year-
normally I’m a buy-them-at-the-store-and-slap-your-name-on-it kind of mom,
but someone instagrammed their kids’ Valentines on Wednesday with the link for the printable
and it inspired me, so I clicked to the link and found some fun ideas!
Here’s what we ended up with…
For Eden (age 4), she picked out fun, spiky light up bouncy balls at Target-
we put them in sealable bags (from Michaels) and printed out these printables
on purple cardstock (she picked) and then stapled them to the tops of the bags.
She wrote her name on the back of each one
(wish I had taken a pic of that, her “signature” is so cute!)
I think Tessa’s (age eight) are my favorite-
my little tomboy picked out plastic bugs ($3 for a pack of 12)
and we printed out this printable on aqua blue paper and glued the bugs on.
Jonah (age 9) picked out light up yo-yos
(from target, packs of 4 for $3)
and we printed out cards that said “yo-yo valentine, you light up the classroom”,
he cut them out and stapled them on the bags with the yo-yos inside.
Caleb (age 11) chose the whoopee cushions
(again, from Target, packs of 4 for $3)
(sorry teachers, he’s an 11-year-old boy!)
and we used this printable-
Caleb cut them out, taped on the whoopee cushions and signed them.
Aren’t they fun?
We had a good time putting them together and each one was less than $20.
