School starts in less than 2 weeks (what?)
so we have just a few days left of summery things–
like slip n slides in the backyard…
Registration was tuesday, and as they handed me Caleb’s schedule it really hit me-
my oldest is in 6th grade- that’s MIDDLE SCHOOL.
He now has a locker and different teachers for each subject plus a homeroom, whoa.
I’m anticipating this to be a year of learning more responsibility for him,
a year of growing up- kinda sad but exciting too!
Jonah is going into 4th and Tessa into 3rd,
and Eden is home with me for one more year- next year she starts kindergarten,
so this is my last year of having a little helper home with me during the days…
when I first began the jewelry making journey I had 3 little helpers home with me all day long-
(my oldest 3, Eden wasn’t even born yet!)
they’re growing up!
We’ve purchased all of our school supplies,
new backpacks and lunch boxes and school clothes,
now we just try to enjoy these last few days of summer!

I know what you mean. School started on August 6th for mydaughters; my oldest is a sophomore in high school counting down the days until she can get her learner’s permit & my youngest is in the fourth grade. Where does the time go!
