Oh. my. goodness. I am an OWL FANATIC! LOVE THEM! My baby girl’s room has owls everywhere!!! Of course my Valentine is my AMAZING husband. After 10 years together (five married) we have had nothing but a winding road (as all do) but between his auto accident a year after we met that resulted in the loss of his leg, the two years of fighting for finalization on him adopting my son, the back and forth to finish college (due to his accident he had to go back after recently finishing college for a different degree) so that meant me quitting school to work, then I went back….does that makes sense? LOL! Last year we suffered a devastating miscarriage at 10 weeks, our first baby together. Soon after we found out we were expecting our daughter who is now about 7 months old. We have been through thick and thin together with no plans on ever being apart. He is my rock, my love and my soul mate. So yes, this year as in the rest of my years, my Valentine will always be the best husband and father I could ever imagine!

My valentine is my wonderful husband, Andrew. We’ve been together for 13 years this month! Who says 13 is unlucky? If I were to win this super cute piece, I would get it for my friends Zabrina and Aaron. They struggeled with infertility for a number of months, and now they are getting ready to welcome thier little owl girl in April! They have chosen an owl theme for the nursery, and I am making them a owl cross stitch birth announcement.

We met and I was not impressed at all. So much for that! He lived in IL and I was in SC so easy out! Well, he called, emailed, sent me things, and kept popping back into town! I couldn’t figure out why this guy kept showing up! We met in March on St. Patricks Day, and that turned out to be a lucky day! In Sept. (still confussed and in denial) I went to a wedding with him, about a week later it hit me like a ton of bricks…LOVE! We got engaged a month later on Sweetest Day, and were married in July! I have never felt so blessed and loved ever in my entire life! We have a love of a lifetime, the only man I dated, ever! And we never really dated since we live 800 mile apart! LOL! That is why my Jeff is my Valentine!

I would put my husband’s name on it. We dated after high school for a year then broke up and went our separate ways. We didn’t talk for several years, in the mean time I had a daughter by another man. Then a year or so after that I was in an abusive relationship, and out of the blue my now husband called me just to say hi and that he had been thinking about me. I don’t know why you’d pick me, but I just have to share. My forever valentine is my sweet baby girl….my 4 yr old border collie. Yes…that’s right…MY DOG!!!! She is by far, my very best friend and my rescue dog who rescued me. I may have the greatest boyfriend who I love dearly, but the day I adopted kiya, on v-day, is the day I told her that she will always be my valentine.

I love this necklace!! My grandmother used to knit us all owl pillows when she was living. I still have the last one she made me. I’d put her initials on the back and she’d be my valentine this year. So sweet!!
