Aren’t fortune cookies fun?
I like “fortunes” of inspiration and faith!

This hand sculpted fortune cookie charm is made from fine silver and measures about an inch in size.
A hand cut sterling rectangle charm is rough and hammered to look like a crumpled paper strip from inside the cookie.
It can be stamped with up to about 15 letters/spaces.
Stamp your favorite scripture reference or something inspirational,
for example:
you are loved
so blessed
expect miracles
Hung on a sterling chain with a freshwater pearl.
Find them HERE!

Let’s give one away!
Just tell us what you would stamp on the rectangle charm to enter!
Facebook, twitter and blog it for extra entries!
(please leave a separate entry for each).

I just finished posting my new necklace on my facebook page and got lots of comments about how much people liked it. Of course I told them it is from tvp! Thanks for your beautiful work!
I would have “dream big”
believe in you
I would love one that read “Dream Big”…that’s what I’m trying to hold onto these days.
Cute! I probably would have “So Blessed” printed.
I don’t know what I would stamp! I’m between two. “loved” because sometimes I forget….unrightfully so! Or “hope” because despite all the tragedy in my life, I always have hope for the future!
I love your stuff!! It’s my favorite thing to give as a gift!
Never Give Up
I would put Love Life
I would stamp it with HOPE and HEALING. I run Shower of Hope Oklahoma – Hamil Family and Shower of Hope Oklahoma. I have met some pretty amazing people who are supporters of both pages on Facebook. I have had the privilege of getting to know a mother in Texas who has an 8-year old son who is battling a rare bone marrow disease. I would like to give her this beautiful creation to let her know that her ultimate “fortune” is HOPE and HEALING.
Thanks for the giveaway,
Toni Keltner

I would get “courage” in honor of my mom who just beat her battle with breast cancer
She is doing great one year after her last treatment!

I love the phrase in the picture above–”you are loved” P.S. LOVE this fortune cookie idea–very clever!
I would put Happy Forever on mine
This would be so perfect! When were were dating, my now husband & I went out for Chinese food on New Year’s Eve and my fortune read “Don’t be afraid to take that big step”. Turns out, he was planning to propose to me at midnight! He saved the fortune because he thought it was so perfect that I had gotten it just hours before
Since then, we love reading our cookie fortunes
I’d probably put “take that step” on the necklace
I tweeted!! @kdabshire

Just posted this giveaway on Facebook! Thanks for extra entries! I hope I win!
My husband and I had been trying to get pregnant nearly two years, visiting fertility specialists, etc… We were getting ready to have to make some major decisions about how we were going to procede, as all the basic medical things weren’t working. Then we received a little unexpected miracle – we got pregnant the month befor we went into to dicuss our next treatment options! The month we got pregnant, I was at work one day, and we had a catered chinese lunch. My fortune cookies always have stupid, corny, or no – fun messages. That day though my forturn read “You wil receive a surprising gift very soon.” I still have it, and it in my wallet. I would scale down this phrase to fit the pendant, and wear it as a reminder that God never forgets the longings of your heart!
He is my Fortune!
“Life is Living” that’s my motto!!

I am finding out the sex of this baby on Friday and I am revealing it to the grandparents using fortune cookies that I’m making!! I’d love to get a necklace for each grandma with the name written on the slip ( just like it will be when I tell them!)

“I am His”
I would put “Come What May” on mine. We had that song played at our wedding, and engraved on the inside of our wedding bands. But the best fortune I ever got was the day before our wedding that said “your love life is about to take a turn for the better.”- too funny! It’s the only one I have ever saved.
I’d stamp “Love Wins” and it would go to my dear friend who finally was named pre-adoptive mom to 2 beautiful girls last week…after a long, difficult wait.

Mine whould say 100 Days. I have 4 kids and I recently started a blog b/c I never flet I was able to get anything done. I am always doing dishes, or cooking {badly but it’s getting done}, or doing laundry. The house is still always a mess and I feel like nothing really gets done. My blog is a journal of all the things I will complete {other than the usual} in 100 days. A way for me to step out of the box. It would be great to have a lphysical memory of this experience and a reminder of what I was able to do!
Mine would say Tourist, after my favorite Death Cab song. The lyrics go like this, “And if you feel just like a tourist in the city you were born, then it’s time to go, and define your destination. There’s so many different places to call home.”
I love those lines
And if not that, then the word infinite, from a section in my favorite book.
God is Good is what I would write!

The Lord will satisfy your needs. You will be like a well watered garden.
Currently, pregnant with my sweet first baby. As the days carry on I worry about what may come, how to provide for this child, how to protect this child, and I start to run around like a mad woman. But those words, the Lord will statisfy bring comfort that I don’t have to have it planned out because He does. That’s reassuring and most certainly the best fortune of faith and inspiration.

I would put “treasured”
oh- seeing this made me think of one of my very dear friends from our last post in Okinawa, JP (my hub’s in the army). She is half Japanese and I really miss her dearly. As we grew in our friendship, we grew in ourselves, bouncing ideas off of each other, we were able to see the blessings in our lives and grow in humility. I’d love to send this to her, to remind her how special she is to me, and I love the one pictured just as it is “You Are Loved” can remind her of our great friendship as well as remind her on those tough days with her three growing boys that she is Loved deeply by our Lord. THank you!

blessed or faith hope love
I would give this to my mom, who has been a rock in our family for several years with Dad’s heart disease and other tough situation. I know sometimes she needs encouragement so I would request that it say “moral courage” from the saying by Mark Twain: “It is curious that physical courage should be so common in the world and moral courage so rare.”

I added this to my facebook page.
My husband had the funniest fortune cookie once, I had to keep it! It said “Don’t kiss an elephant on the lips today”. Seriously?! I have it pinned to the corkboard at my desk, it always makes me laugh!
Since that quote wouldn’t fit, how about IT’S A BOY! (since I’m pregnant and awaiting the birth of my second boy).
Always Blessed
Dreams come true
This would be perfect for me, my husband and I had Chinese food one afternoon and each got a fortune cookie that said you will have full contentment by summers end, I found out the next day after 2 years of trying that we were pregnant.
Well now that I’ve read, “You are loved,” that’s all I can think of! So…something like that. Or…just that.

“Chow Funs” – I know it sounds kind of silly, but my FAVORITE movie of all time is The Story Of Us and at the end she wants to eat at Chow Funs because she realizes that she wants to stay with her husband, It is a really touching moment that makes me cry every time I watch it, and with this being a fortune cookie necklace, I thought it was so appropriate since it is a Chinese restaurant they are talking about!

For my daughter, who has taught me more about love than I could have ever dreamed
I would put “Live the Dream.” When I quit my job to stay at home with my kids (after 4.5 years), I ran into a guy (customer, not a sales rep) at Lowe’s. He asked how I was doing, and I gave the thoughtless, “Fine. How are you?” His response was “Living the dream!” It took me by surprise, and I realized that I WAS living my dream but not telling anyone about it. Since then, I’ve tried to remember how lucky I am to be living my dream.

Love this necklace. I have three daughters adopted from China, and even though fortune cookies did not originate there, I love the idea of giving them each such a necklace. For me, I might put, Never Alone, to remind me that God hears and answers our prayers.
I LOVE the fortune cookie charm! Last year I opened a cookie that said “This year will be filled with happiness” and I kept it. A few weeks later I found out I was pregnant with my first baby. I keep it taped to my computer to remind me every day of my blessings. I don’t know what to put on the charm though. I’m thinking “today is a gift” It’s exactly 15 characters too!
I would have blessed put on it. Than put my daughter Sidney’s name on it. She is my miracle I adopted her.
Mine would say “God is good!”

Well I did and 13 years later I still have it. Not the cookie.. I would put on the fortune. ” heart’s desire” In my life and with love God has always given me my true hearts desire. From finding the love of my , being a nurse which I love; to my biggest heart’s desire to have two wonderful munchkins. I live by Psalm 37:4 He will give you the desires of your heart”. It’s one of the phrases I live by.
Vintage Pearl Team:
You all have a hard task ahead of choosing a very special someone to receive your fortune cookie necklace; I don’t know how you’ll ever choose. I already posted what I would have written on the necklace if I were chosen as the winner, but didn’t share the story behind the verses I would choose (Proverbs 4:23, Isaiah 43:2, or Proverbs 31:5). In May of 2011 I graduated with my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. It was a joyous and overwhelming day, one that I thought would never come.
My journey towards that day began in 2002, and was quickly interrupted that weekend when I was in a serious car accident that took the life of my friend and left me seriously injured. I would not return back to school until 2003 at which point I completed my first year of college. During the summer, I began questioning the path I had chosen and decided to take some time off from school at which point I met my husband and we embarked on a mission’s trip to Nigeria, Africa. It was there that God reminded me that He had called to become a teacher. Fast forward to 2005, my husband and I were married in August and in November learned that I was expecting our first child. Though pregnant, I felt the Lord calling me to return to school.
I wasn’t sure how I would manage to handle a newborn and college, but trusted that He would see me through. Over the next 4 years I was faced with a number of obstacles and challenges. To keep it short, I had school advisers question whether I was making the right choice to become a teacher while trying to raise two young children (second gift was born in 2009). There were moments when I wanted to give up because staying the course seemed impossible. I would cry and scream that I wasn’t going back to school the next, only to return and be reminded by God that He called me to this and would see me through.
Each of the verses I have selected are ones that kept me going when I felt weak and incapable of finishing. They were reminders of God’s promises to me as well as wisdom. I had to “guard my heart” towards those who didn’t support me along the way. God reminded me that he was right next to me when I had to pass “through the waters… river… and fire.” As a result of this I have come to know that I am “clothed in His strength and dignity” and don’t have to worry or fear about what the future brings because He is in control!
Winning this necklace would be such a privilege as it will surely stir up conversations as to what the verse is and why I chose it. What a way to witness and share my testimony of the goodness and faithfulness of God!
I’m not sure what I’d put on it but I LOVE this and would surely find a wonderful phrase if I won!
I love this!! I would put “Live Life” or “Love Live”
I would totally get this for my MIL. she loves fortune cookies and saves her fortunes. I love the example inscribed with you are loved! Thanks for the great giveaway!
Proverbs 3:5-6
i would go with “choose happiness”
Another beautiful piece! I would have “be not afraid’ on my necklace if I was lucky enough to win. If that phrase doesn’t fit, I’d pick ‘fear nothing’. Thanks!
What a great give-a-way! Thank you! Here’s what I would pick to be stamped: ReNEWed (Eph 4:23)
I think I’d put, “shelter” , “under His wings”, “new eyes” , “redeemed” or ” you are loved”. I like that reminder a lot. I am going to do a blog post but I’m waiting for the last piece of my necklace to arrive so I can photograph it for the post. Love your heart felt jewelry!
I like “So Blessed”
I would write Just believe, There have been many times I just felt like I couldn’t do it but I know if I believe I can do it I can. I finished my masters just after I had my second baby – the whole journey was a crazy one – I started write before my husband had major hip surgery – the way it ended was perfect. I know I can do anything if I believe I can no matter how impossible it seems.
Live*Laugh*Love
The first thing that came to mind was “so blessed”… Love the piece!
I’m about to have brain surgery coming up soon, and I would stamp “FAITH”on it!
I don’t know for sure what I would pick, but probably a scripture. There are too many to pick from!

trust.
ho-nowaminiti. “(You) walk on.” In Chahta. In memory of my Ninny and Gee. I like it because it sounds like a fortune (Walk on) but the “ho” turns it into a first person order. I miss them every single day but they always taught me to walk on. Thanks for making such amazing stuff and giving away fantabulous stuff! Ps I got my groupon today!!!
“Ho-nowaminiti.”
Roughly translated, it means “(You) walk on forward.” in Chahta. My Grandma and both her sister passed away within 1 year of each other-it will be 3 years this October. They lived through so many trials (cancer, diabetes, organ failure) but still managed to keep a smile in the hearts and respect for our tribal culture alive and traditions passed on to the younger generations. I miss them so much, I would be honored to honor them.
I also like it because the English translation reads like a fortune (You should always walk forward through all trials.)
Thanks for doing another giveaway!
Ps Got my groupon today-woohoo!!!
Ho-nowaminiti.
Roughly translated, it means “You walk on (forward).” in Chahta. My Grandma and her sisters (all full bloods) passed away within one year of each other. It will be 3 years in October. Through all their trials (cancer, diabetes, organ failure) they always managed to keep a smile in their hearts for us, encourage us and teach tribal traditions and beliefs. I miss them more than I can say.
I also like it because the translation sounds fortune-any, and who doesn’t love those cookies??
Thanks for another fab giveaway!
