We spent the morning outside since the weather was beautiful, and then after Jonah came home we ran over to one of my girlfriend’s house to take their family dinner. They just had a beautiful baby girl a little over a week ago.

For some reason (this is totally not like me) I decided to leave the kids in the car while I ran in real quick to drop off the dinner… we started to chat and one of their son’s accidently let their dog in and the next thing I know he has attatched his teeth to my leg! (I am soooooo thankful I left the kids in the car and he wasn’t attatched to one of their legs!) I’m also thankful they have a pretty small dog!

So now I’m left with this on the back of my leg…

and this on the front…

They feel just awful, and I feel so bad that they feel so bad! They cleaned it up a bit and I left. I called Ryan (who is, once again, out of town!) and I started to cry, mostly from being shook up because the pain was down to a dull throbbing.

When we got home the kids saw it (and the blood dripping down my leg) and they didn’t know what to think. They were speechless (for once!) They stood in total silence as they watched me put medicine on it and clean it up and everything, and then when I was done they both just gave me a big hug. Tessa has continued to give me random hugs, telling me she’s gonna make it all better!

It’s already feeling better but I’m still kinda shocked…!!!

OMG! That is horrible! I hope it stops throbbing. No offense, but I am glad it was not one of th kids either. I can SO understand why you’d be crying. I think I might cry for you…

Dog bites can be dangerous, you might need to put in a call to your dr. just to be safe.

AHHH! I can’t believe that! The fact that your pregnant self was taking someone else dinner is already enough! But then to be BITTEN BY THEIR DOG? It sounds too bizarre to be true. I would totally be in shock too!

Super Great Photo Shots! Love the Black And Whites. The simplicity of it, makes the photo that much more. Love them! Would love to know what mode you were using and what lens…I can never get these actions shots to work right for me! Your really getting good with the camera thing!

  22. gina says:

A small dog?!?!!! I hope you are okay now. I like the color pics better in all of them but the one of her when she is looking down and kind of serious- I like the B&W better of that one. I love feet shots too. :)

  23. Anonymous says:

OH sweety Im so sorry to hear this . DOgs sometimes do this before , after a new baby is brought home. For whatever reason small dogs do this MORE . ANd you being pregnant …..it has something to do with the hormones ….the dog whisperer went over it one time …… about why this happens ….but I hope your feeling better !

  24. Marni Tiani Self says:
